ABLT Reinforces Unity and Innovation in the Short-Term Rental Market at Annual Convention

More than 200 hosts from across Brazil were present

The Second National Convention of ABLT (Brazilian Association of Short-Term Rental) brought together more than 200 hosts, suppliers, and industry companies in one of the most relevant gatherings in the country's short-term rental market. The event, which took place in October, highlighted the association's role as a representative force for a community that already counts more than 150,000 hosts across Brazil.

"The association is fundamental for small, medium, and large short-term rental operators," says William Astolfi, ABLT Vice-President and CEO of B.Homy. "ABLT is a young association, just a year old, but we have already played an important role in legislative discussions."

With lectures, panels, and debate sessions, the convention discussed essential topics for the sector's future, such as automation, productivity gains, and operational cost reduction, pillars that are increasingly strategic for managers and hosts seeking to professionalize property management and improve the guest experience. "The short-term rental market is going through a consolidation phase. Technology is the major competitive differentiator, it supports hosts, reduces costs, and raises service quality," highlighted Yuri Mourão, Partnership Secretary and COO of Yes Temporada, one of the leading figures present at the event.

ABLT: An Active Voice for Brazilian Hosts

Since its founding, ABLT has positioned itself as a defender of the interests of both professional and independent hosts, acting not only in capacity building but also in the institutional representation of the sector. In addition to fostering dialogue with public authorities, the association works to strengthen the ecosystem that drives thousands of jobs and generates income for families across the country. This year's convention reinforced that purpose, bringing a program rich in content and networking. Attendees were able to share experiences on security, operations, marketing, and the role of digital platforms in the sustainable growth of short-term rentals.

Technology at the Center of Discussions

Among the most discussed topics, process automation emerged as an undeniable trend. Technology companies specializing in the sector, such as New Byte, were present, showcasing solutions that help managers and hosts optimize tasks and improve the guest experience. "Participating in events like the ABLT Convention is essential for understanding the real challenges of the market and developing solutions that truly make a difference. Our mission at New Byte is to improve the life of the professional host by providing access to artificial intelligence and automation for property managers of all sizes," stated Arthur Bueno Stein, CEO of New Byte.

Outlook and Next Steps

Following the success of this edition, ABLT has already announced plans to hold the next convention in October of next year in Rio de Janeiro. The expectation is to bring together an even larger audience, with in-depth discussions about the future of digital hospitality, new security standards, and regulatory trends impacting the sector.

"We want to build a stronger, better-informed, and more protected community. Brazilian hosts need to be prepared for the challenges and opportunities ahead," Yuri Mourão reinforces regarding the next event's organization. The convention also counted on the support of strategic partners, such as Stays, which contributed to the debate on innovation and sustainability in short-term rental operations.
