Two tweaks to the host panel β
Anyone who works with a front desk knows the question on the eve of check-in: has that booking's documentation gone to the front desk yet or not? When the answer is not recorded in the booking itself, someone has to ask the team or search a conversation. Two tweaks to the NCollect host panel take care of that: the manual "Sent to front desk" mark and a button to delete form templates.
What changes
- Sent to front desk, by hand: in the booking details, the host marks the booking as "Sent to front desk". The booking header now shows the mark, and a green notice confirms it was saved.
- Delete template: form templates got a delete button. A template that is no longer useful leaves the list.
How it works in practice
The team checked the documentation and passed it on to the front desk. They open the booking in the panel, click the mark and see the header update right away. Whoever opens that booking later, the same day or the following week, knows this step is already done, without having to ask.
For templates, cleanup is up to the company: a form created for testing, or built for a season that has already passed, can be deleted so the list shows only what is in use.
Good to know
- The mark is set by the host, inside the booking details.
- There is nothing to configure: both tweaks are already in the host panel.
