NCollect: consolidated PDF with property, check-in and check-out in the header

by New Byte Team

The PDF now says which property and which period πŸ“„

The consolidated PDF is the file that gathers the booking's documents in NCollect, ready to go to the front desk. Until now, the header showed only the booking identifier and the company name. For the front desk, that meant receiving a file and still having to find out which unit it was for and for which days, by checking a list or asking the team. Now the header also shows the property name, the check-in and the check-out.

What changes

  • The header now has: booking identifier, company, property name, check-in and check-out.
  • Property and dates come out the same as what the host panel shows for the same booking, with the date in day/month/year.
  • Whoever receives the PDF, such as the front desk, identifies the property and the period without having to check another system.

How it works in practice

A building with several units operated by the same company. The front desk receives the PDF, reads the property and the dates in the header and already knows which guest to expect, in which unit and on which day. The host's team stops getting the message "which apartment is this PDF for?".

Good to know

  • Applies to PDFs generated from now on. Those already issued are not regenerated in bulk.
  • An older booking gets the new header when its PDF is generated again.
  • The header labels are in Portuguese, and the PDF layout has not changed.
