NCollect: mark the contract as signed in the booking

by New Byte Team

Signed contract, recorded in the booking ✍️

In many operations, the rental contract follows its own path: it goes by email, through a signing tool or on paper, and the confirmation that it was signed stays outside NCollect. When it is time to release check-in, someone has to remember, or check somewhere else, whether that contract came back signed. Now, inside the booking, the host can mark the contract as signed, and undo it if needed. The booking now shows a contract tag next to the status and document tags.

What you get

  • A record, in the booking itself, that the contract was signed.
  • The contract tag lives alongside the status and document tags: the three appear side by side, without one changing the other.
  • It can be undone, in case the mark was set by mistake.

How it works in practice

The team receives the signed contract the usual way, opens the booking in the NCollect panel and marks the contract as signed. On the eve of check-in, whoever looks at the booking sees, side by side, whether the registration is completed, whether the document was approved and whether the contract was signed. Three checks in one glance, without opening another system.

Good to know

  • It is a manual mark: NCollect does not receive or sign the contract. There is no upload or electronic signature.
  • The contract tag does not change the booking status or block its progress.
  • Only the company itself can change the mark.
