Inbox settings in Spanish π
Operations that provide support in Spanish, or that have Spanish-speaking team members, use NChat in that language. But the inbox settings screen came mixed: part in Spanish, part in English, especially in the settings tab. Whoever was setting up a new inbox had to guess what each option said, or ask someone who could read English for help. Now the screen is translated.
What changes
- Spanish-language accounts now see the inbox settings screen translated. Before, part of the text appeared in English.
- The inbox Understand the settings tour now also points to the Spanish labels. Before, it highlighted an option and the label was in another language.
- Nothing changes for Portuguese-language accounts.
How it works in practice
The manager of an operation with support in Spanish goes to Settings, opens the WhatsApp inbox and reads the options in the language they work in. If they have a question about the effect of any option, they click Understand the settings and the tour explains it, in Spanish, pointing to the Spanish label.
Good to know
- Applies only to the Spanish language and only to the inbox settings screen.
- Product names and acronyms stay in English.
- Other areas in Spanish, such as integrations, general settings and reports, still have text to translate.
Available in NChat V4. V4 is activated by the implementation team: request yours through NDesk.
